Winery Gremi was founded in 2011 in the village Gremi, in Kvareli. The site for the winery was specially selected with taking into consideration the characteristics of the existing micro zone Kindzmarauli.
The Winery Gremi is located on 15 000 m2 area in Kindzmarauli micro zone. The 56 hectares of vineyards owned by the company provide the opportunity to bottle the best quality wine. The company produces more than 25 types of alcoholic beverages, which are distinguished by the highest quality.
On the territory the following buildings are located:
- Warehouse building facilities (992 m²)
- Wine storage, laboratory, refrigeration chamber (500 m²)
- Administration building
- Hotel with conference and office rooms
- The factory is equipped with high quality equipment such as Ferolli refrigerating system, Gay’s Italian bottling and taping line that can produce 3 000 bottles per hour, Buher’s Grape Receiver that has enameled and stainless-steel reservoirs, Qvevri da Oak barrels
The company has the capacity of producing 2 million bottles
